They said mice with “autism like symptoms” basically they think a specific acid is causing autism symptoms so the genetically altered mice to have fucked up amts of it then treated it with this drug

but so many symptoms i associate with autism i can’t imagine an animal having like how is a mouse gonna take everything way too literally or get hyper fixated on a new show

Yeah they explained that’s a major disadvantage of the study not that it changes anything 😭😭 autism is more abt the individual experience than anything so unless it’s a human trail with at the very least 1000 participants I don’t even pay attention
