i think a lot of the dislike stems from discomfort. genders typically act a certain way so transness adds a certain level ingenuiness that is noticeable. whether it’s small effeminate “men” trying to bro out too hard or stockier “girls” with stubble, broad shoulders and harder chin lines. it sort of acts like the uncanny valley effect nothing overtly wrong when you see it, just deeply unsettling to the psyche

i mean you’re allowed to think ppl are ugly but like people are just living their lives why are we trying to tell ppl what to do with their bodies
