So as a Christian, I can understand why they would feel the need to try to convince you to be Christian as they believe they’re saving your soul but they’re going it the wrong way. The Bible basically says not to force people to have your beliefs and to let others come to you when they’re ready to hear the gospel/the good news. And to spread the gospel as often as possible (in a respectful manner). I apologize on behalf of those people, that’s not how Christians should treat others
