Ok. Did you know the national socialist party called themselves that specifically to propagandize and get working class support? Like explicitly. The Nazis sorta famously went after socialists and the left wingers were the first to be sent to concentration camps. Additionally, if you understood socialism you would also know that thinkers like Lenin are fundamentally opposed to the concept of the nation state and advocated for an international socialist revolution abolishing borders and nation

Like the mainline socialist philosophical background of dialectical materialism states that the things that exist and matter are in the material world. The concept of a nation to a Marxist does not exist like how a hammer does. The concept of a “nation” is also based upon race which yet again the Marxist position is that race as a concept does not exist in the same way as a door. Same story with borders. A socialist wouldn’t even believe in the concept of nations, let alone be nationalist
