That’s what I’m saying! Why would you want to be able to think for yourself when the Cuban government does it for you? Real Cubans know those traitors in the US who have freedom of speech and press don’t deserve the great literacy programs of Cuba

Bruh they live in poverty, it’s not hard to 1) see what’s around you and 2) see how their economy is impacted by sanctions and embargoes. They don’t willingly sit out of the global market. The fact that their lived experience aligns with the state agenda is practically irrelevant. Most countries, even in the west, have called for us to end all embargoes and egregious sanctions on Cuba lmao. Especially recently as they’ve ramped up again
