Multiple clinical studies have proven gender dysphoria is a legitimate medical illness and is easily addressed with hormone replacement therapy and sex reassignment surgery. Comparing gender, not sex, to race and age is disingenuous and a false equivalency

Someone who identifies as a man it is such an easy concept to understand. Sex is based on the chromosomes, gender is the identity and cultural ideas surrounding how certain sexes present. It is literally so easy to do the research and educate yourself but you people would rather use “gotchas” like “define a man” instead of educating yourselves

It just blatantly is not. Nobody says a coyote is a coyote because it identifies that way, they say that because science has proven that is a coyote. The same exact way that science has proven that gender dysphoria is a very real illness that is very easily treated with real medical procedures. You can’t use ignorance as an excuse to be obtuse

It’s a medical illness. It doesn’t mean that getting the surgery will make u into a female. It’ll just make u feel better. It’s treating the symptom, not the illness. Kinda like u going to the doctor with arm pain and they just give u pain medicine without treating the infection or sore.

Hey bud. Part of the treatment is having your gender affirmed not just through medical procedures, but by your friends and family. You can say “you’re not a real man/woman” all you want, that just makes you a bigoted piece of shit who would rather actively make someone’s life worse than adapt to scientific consensus
