it didn’t. it just made it so states have to recognize other states’ marriages. so that 9 states that have banned gay marriage will still have to recognize marriages from states that have legalized it. but the RFMA is just a law, it can be repealed, hell the SC could deem it unconstitutional

bodily autonomy, marriage equality, and equal protections are all being actively attacked by the gop. that's been their entire platform for the past 4 years at least. nothing has been stripped back completely but access to healthcare for trans people is becoming harder and harder to get, there are bathroom bills forcing trans people to use the wrong bathroom and then being subjected violence for it. and the gop has egging it on for years.
