If you are a liberal/leftist, would you rather vote for thomas massie over a corporate democrat?

The problem with massie is that while he is good about Israel and the Epstein files, most of his policies suck. And that’s not really a personal issue with massie, that’s just libertarianism having bad policies. He adheres to his values, but his values are destructive.

I think massie is on the edge of realizing the policies he fights for benefit the very people he’s trying to expose

But I think at least in terms of funding conservation, promoting education, building infrastructure, you know the practical stuff, a corporate dem is going to be better than massie. The only thing massie is reliably better than a corporate dem on is Israel. And I think that with the current competitiveness of congress, having a massie there is not going to create reliable policy change in regards to Israel. But having another dem there can shift the vote results on those other issues.

Agree with you but if I lived in his district, I rather vote for massie than a corporate democrat because he would have much higher chance of winning

Oh the question of electability is a whole nother issue. If I was in his district during his primary I would have registered as a Republican just to vote for him, and then I would have voted for a dem in the general knowing they weren’t going to win.

I totally support people in deep red districts voting for the less evil Republican in the primaries so that when they do inevitably win they at least aren’t insane. In actually competitive districts it’s different.
