Please ignore the fact half the job posting have also been fake since 2021 that’s just the ✨ art of the deal ✨

*Trump obliterating the job market with his tariffs and uncertainty so the Fed is forced to cut rates, increasing the present value of the hundreds of millions of dollars of bonds he bought so he can sell them for a quick buck*

I was just going to say, I wonder how many of those are ghost job openings. There’s no other reason my friends and I should have a combined hundreds of applications in multiple different fields, and for all of us to have the same exact experience of not hearing a thing back from 99% of them

Mind you, these are all “real” or necessary fields we’re in. I hate using that term, because every job is valuable, but I’m talking engineers, a pilot, IT, etc. and it’s the same story with all of them :/

We need laws against ghosting applicants. Should cut down on these fake listings if they actually have to answer every applicant for them

Yes we absolutely do because it is such a waste of resources and time for everyone. I know for a fact the business has to pay to list the opening on any job site. And while we’re at it, it should be (and probably is tbh) false advertising to put a non-remote job on a remote job only listing website. I got all the way through an interview one time only to find out it was not remote in any way, when I applied on remotejobs.io
