Public school teachers voting Republican is so strange to me. Like, have you heard what they’re saying about you? They’re accusing you guys of grooming kids as an excuse to completely privatize education 😭

like at my building they used to give teachers lunch for free if we were ok with eating school food. guess what stopped in early october now extrapolate that out across technology funding, sports funding, classroom budgets, event budgets, etc

I appreciate that those around you have changed their mind in light of recent events but It’s a little naive to assume the rest of the country did the same. I live in Georgia and many public school teacher that work with my sister are republican and will vote republican come the midterms

I am a public school teacher in Kansas & unfortunately many of my fellow teachers are either “not political” or conservative. Plenty aren’t. I also know a lot who just want to leave & work at the Catholic schools or have kids & quit teaching entirely. Plenty are amazing other teachers though & no shade to people who get burnt out in this profession.

They’re surprisingly common in certain school districts
