I wish they were too incompetent; tbh we might be underestimating them the CIA and NSA are fucking fiends in doing fucked up shit and getting away with it, many times taking decades for even the slightest hint of what went down to come out. I would not be surprised if the CIA is secretly supporting the heritage foundation’s protect 2025 and other similar plans
