 Idc how controversial this is, but with the school year coming up it’s been on my mind If you are proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to be using generative AI in your schoolwork at a college, it should be immediate expulsion. Literally just plagerism

A calculator isn’t even remotely comparable. You still have to know what to put into it, how to put it into it, and how to use that answer in context of solving the larger problem. A more accurate description would be if you showed your paper to something and it did all of the math work for you. It’d be like me handing my homework to a friend, then doing it, and then me saying I did it
