Genuinely I don’t understand conservative logic anymore, we have a president that is actively advancing towards being more and more authoritarian. Does that not scare anyone?? What happened to small government and giving power to the people?

I think both types exist in great numbers, and the way forward is learning to tell the difference in your communities. talk with the “apolitical” types at school, work, etc. many of them are single issue voters but deprive the literal nazis of oxygen.

I think the key is that the “well meaning conservatives” worth reaching out to aren’t calling themselves conservatives. They’re calling themselves “not political”
