Yea idk I feel like everyday I’m realizing that the friends I used to call friends now can’t even qualify as optimistic and empathetic human beings which I thought was a pretty easy bar to hit idk

most of the guys from my high school were like that and are now worse than they were. i didnt have many friends there, but i did find a group of guys who were a big step in a more positive direction, but even one of them with regular contact and updates has gotten wack. i mean one of six of us is trans now and this wacked guy is on homophobia and racism (and more) and is so far from being good on trans issues. the low bar seems astoundingly high now
