Because one side does. One side rigs almost everything they do because they know their image and policy is wildly unpopular and would never win otherwise.

I don’t live in ohio but to my knowledge the “yes” crowd generally leans more liberal, but the amendment was written by a republican state judge and the “no” crowd was generally affiliated with the republican party, but here’s a brief explanation of what it’s calling for
