You see it on all aisles of the political spectrum. If you’re gonna introduce as a political argument, especially among US voters, that Ukraine or Israel need weapons or USAID needs more funding to combat disease on the other side of the world or whatever, at least try to frame it as benefitting America and American citizens even if indirectly. The US spending billions of dollars in these endeavors should be framed as extreme generosity instead of evil selfishness if we choose not to

I partially agree, but that was not what I was discussing. I’m not talking about solely war, I’m talking about the exploitative nature of our “aid”. that being said, our wars absolutely benefit some Americans, but only the richest.
