You’re correct, and anyone with legitimate geopolitical expertise understands this. We remain the dominant political, economic, military and technological power, but Trump’s turn to isolationism is certainly threatening that, at least on a regional level for the moment. If China and Russia are left to carve out their spheres of influence, our position will be a lot less sturdy
