She got a really scary look into the world she created and I’m sorry for her to have gone through something terrifying but it sounds like she needed the wake up call

Yall she pulled strings by using her privilege cause the govt office did respond by giving the okay to providers to give her the abortion and then blamed democrats for ā€œconfusingā€ providers like I actually wish her hell

I think this is what happens when pro-choice activists successfully convince doctors that they will lose their license or end up in jail for following a pretty clear cut law. Go read the legislation... It clearly allows for the procedure she asked for

You wanna know why? Because abortion is coded as everything even closely related now days. Even though they are different. One is an elective procedure the other is something needed out of necessity. Now one can argue semantics over a woman’s choice of abortion being necessity all they want (and I disagree) however two necessities don’t automatically equal to each other even if that was a value held. Women are blinded by the little power they’re given, and it’s only works against itself.

I can’t stand both the pro choice and pro life groups. I really don’t, but I still align my values with pro life but I generally agree that they still can be toxic at times.

All you all care about is regulation after regulation and it hurts everyone. And yeah that’s probably from both parties in different ways.

The law allows for emergency operations like the one she needed. However, there was a delay in giving her the operation because they have to verify that the operation is absolutely necessary. All you people wishing her ill are sick and pathetic

you realize that’s the exact problem here? that the legislation of this was vague as fuck and it literally had to be clarified in real time, which delayed her emergency care?? lmao bffr like do you not see how this is relevant? legislating exceptions is difficult, especially when you set vague laws that aren’t based off scientific consensus. 6 weeks isn’t not enough time for someone to get an abortion. it’s too early, tests can give false negatives and it won’t even show on an ultrasound.

like srsly what you’re explaining here literally got clarified as the situation unfolded and they scrambled to give her emergency medical care due to the vagueness of the law SHE helped to pass. i don’t have any sympathy for her, i think she got a taste of her own medicine. i think she realized that maybe HER right to bodily autonomy was jeopardized, but instead of seeing her own fault she doubled down and blamed pro-choice activists for ā€œfearmongeringā€???

literally, the fact she directly called up the Governor makes my blood boil. like, i’m so glad that YOU get to be the exception literally ONLY because of political connections. meanwhile victims of rape aren’t even afforded the same courtesy if they can’t substantially document and prove that they were raped. and it’s hard enough for survivors to come forward, harder still to prove this in a legal sense but all Cammack has to do is make a phone call for an exception to a bs law SHE passed??

i just can’t stop myself from wondering if she wasn’t a state rep if she would’ve gotten that emergency care…

So for a woman going through this exact thing who doesn’t have to governor on speed dial would be delayed even longer if not just refused care until she is in the ER, what about then? What about the many women who have had this exact experience except they couldn’t call higher up to get it cleared?

You shouldn’t need to know people in high places to get lifesaving medical care.
