New York Times just out out a questionnaire that tells you how the BBB will impact you. Only thing really relevant to probably everyone in here is the federal student loans section, otherwise it seems there’s some big benefits 😃
I’m noticing a lot of this is for like.. the rich… even the ones that “benefit” me don’t really benefit me at all, they just harm the less fortunate and make things easier for the rich.

big benefits? taxes went up for the large majority of americans. they reduce the rate and claim they cut taxes, but also reduce deductions and the like so that working people are overall paying more. all yes votes on the BBB are traitors.

No they didn’t. Read the bill.

Not true. Did you even read the bill???

Yeah what #1 said you’re just objectively wrong. It’s tax breaks for everyone, including people making over $500,000k per year though, yes

Yeah this is not true either. Basically if you have a job and make any level of money you get tax breaks. Plus no tax on overtime work or tips

literally isn’t. if i lower your tax rate but then get rid of all your deductions… your net taxes can go up. you guys are so stupid it’d be funny if you weren’t destroying the country.

My understanding is that my tax rate will be the same but my deductions will be essentially doubled. Plus I plan to buy an expensive new car in the next couple years of which I can deduct all of the interest on my financing 😃 the BBB will be directly saving me money

how much money do you make? because for anything that is very high income, taxes are effectively going up

Ok and in exchange millions will go without healthcare and even more may not be able to afford food, plus ICE now has more money than the militaries of other countries. And you’re telling me I should be glad because my tips and overtime are no longer taxed?
