No, you asked why people wanted to come here. I answered the question: we present an image of ourselves internationally that living here is a lot better than it actually is. That is in no way a commentary on how beneficial the system of immigration actually is.

I’m sure there are countries that are more honest about the quality of life there, and if you’re really opposed to immigration, you should lead the charge on letting the international community know how America’s infrastructure is crumbling, poverty is rampant, and how the police commit human rights violations

I think you might be misunderstanding. I made a post about immigration and asking why does everyone want to come here if it sucks so much. You said that the reasoning is because of “false advertising” aka lying to people. So the immigration industry in America is thriving because like you said the people are being lied to about how good America is. So is a system that is based on lying to people a system that we should be keeping in place or is there another system not built on lies

People should just be honest. People should recognize there are other better places to immigrate because America's is capitalist of course. Immigration to the US is associated with thousands of dollars so the people involved in that industry have a reason to keep lying to people.

That’s literally not the point. The point is that, hypothetically - IF America was more honest about what life is actually like you, immigration would drop significantly. That’s not gonna happen though because there’s too much money to be made on the selling of American exceptionalism
