The absurdity comes from the fact that one of the worlds “strongest militaries” has been completely brought to its knees by a country whose main armaments are either $200 drones or decades old equipment from the country invading them

Absurd? It’s hilarious. Ukraine is using cheap pov drones bought from the toy isle, attaching a grabber arm, putting a mortar round on it, and using it to drop accurate mortar fire on Russians. This is the best stuff we’ve seen since the Canadians, and for once it’s probably not going to be a war crime in 10 years!

It turns out Russia was a paper tiger. They’re so corrupt they lost any military capacity in the 90s and never recovered it.

I mean look at any development Russia has attempted to make in military tech since the Soviet Union fell. The T14 and the Su-57 are both yet to be seen in anything more than prototypes and they’ve been in development since the Union fell
