Jesus isn’t even his first name. If you want semantics, “Emmanuel” was the name predicted in Isaiah 7:14, but Jesus is the English translation of the Greek translation of the Hebrew name Yeshua. In fact, if you directly translate the name from the later books of the Hebrew Bible, “Yehoshua,” Jesus should be fucking called Joshua. I guess Josh Christ doesn’t have the same ring to it
