neither is unilaterally cutting funding for necessary programs and agencies that help people just to line the pockets of billionaires 🤷

Vote on policy, not on party.

I'm not saying you're wrong but I do think it's pretty unrealistic for most Democrats to genuinely prefer a Republican candidate at this time. The "vote blue no matter who" thing is mostly aimed at people who don't vote at all or vote third party because they don't like either option and can't handle voting for the lesser of two perceived evils (which would presumably be the Democrat)

Being a partisan has nothing to do with being anti democratic, it’s called voting in a bloc; that being said, I have been voting for Tung Tung Tung Sahur in every election.

So while I don't agree with the slogan in the literal sense, I think it is an effective strategy to try to get everyone who prefers the Democratic candidate over the Republican candidate to actually go out and vote for the Democrat

There was very famously a party switch in this country BECAUSE their policies and ideologies changed. Party does not necessarily indicate policy. Trump claims to be a Republican, yet many of his policies are literally anything but. He’s been extremely pro-federal government and taking power away from states and he’s ballooned the national debt.

Just bc parties change that doesn’t mean that they’re not broadly built around policy.

I’m stating a general rule, unless we take this slogan has literally as we can generally it’s true that parties form around common policy. There’s obviously exceptions but it’s a slogan.
