Probably but most Americans aren’t ready for that. The left has learned that despite its rightful morale high ground most Americans aren’t center right/ or center left. Going all in on the Bernie side ( although academic and data supported) does not win moderate voters needed to win the White House.

Left or right doesn’t matter when it comes to winning. All people care about is which side seems more rebellious, and which one sounds like they’re going to get rid of things they don’t like, and give things they do like. We’ve seen first hand. All Trump did was go up and lie for 4 years, and he won. Didn’t matter that the contradicting truth was observable in realtime, all people heard was one side saying “the system is broken, I’ll fix it” and the other saying “we need to protect our system”.

Nailed it. He lost in 2020 because people realized he was the system and then they quickly forgot it.
