continued in comments: again if you’re a woman and you don’t want your husband to be a provider, that’s fine! but for women and men who want a semi traditional marriage where the man works and provides while the woman cares for the home and works if she wants to, you need to step it up

specifically, men who want that need to provide and work instead of complaining that women don’t want them and that it’s not fair. as a woman, you need to raise your standards for men. you also need to be the kind of person a man would want to be with!!! stop being unkind and discouraging to men. we’re depressed as a generation in part due to the lack of companionship. loneliness is becoming a real issue.
