I am going to be honest. I was naive. I was overly optimistic. As bad as things were getting, I really didn’t foresee Holocaust denial ever entering mainstream politics in America. If you want to refute antisemitic dog whistles I might not be the best person to ask, im not Jewish, but there are two in particular that are really common and easy to refute “271k” This is the figure given for the number of Jewish deaths during WW2 from the German red cross. Obviously not the most objective source, but even if it was correct (its not), its not suddenly ok to murder 271k innocent people.
“109” or 109 bars” This is roughly the number of countries Jews were expelled from. It was wrong every single time, and this was over the course of hundreds of years. I doubt the people posting this would say the Germans being expelled from dozens of Eastern European countries proved they were doing something wrong.
“Early life section” This is a dog whistle about how many important historical figures were Jewish or came from Jewish families. This is meant to make Jews seem like they are behind all levers of power, but really you could do this trick with any ethnicity. I saw a satirical chart, mocking Neo-Nazi meme formats, showing all the bankers with Irish heritage. You can also do this trick with Freemasons and stuff and it looks just as bad without context.
