“boo hoo stop assuming every Republican thinks the same thing” like man y’all vote the same way, shit, sorry I assumed that an unrepentant voter for the Fuck You Party is probably a bit of an assholeBillboard Chris—“Clementine was medically transitioned at 12, after one appointment”. That’s just one example, and since apparently we’re speaking in absolutes (the point of my comment) I guess because Clementine got a mastectomy at 14 then you all must believe in giving children mastectomies at that age. It’s just a point of not seeing everyone as part of a monolith buddy
Assuming her story is true, which neither of us have any clue about, then yeah I don’t think most people on the left would support that that early, and Democrats don’t run on that issue. Republicans never shut up about all the most disgusting shit in their platform. Like you can play “I vote Republican for gun rights” all you want, but Trump doesn’t really talk about gun rights ever and is also the guy who banned bump stocks and put in place unconstitutional red flag laws, so even that’s shaky.
Also I think that’s a medical malpractice issue more than a strictly political one, that doctor should be sued, but that doesn’t mean the entire purview of gender affirming care has to be destroyed because of a couple malpractice cases. If we destroyed entire fields of medicine over individual instances of malpractice, we would have no medicine.
I never said to destroy gender affirming care, my point is genuinely just about being an absolutist and I think we’re skewing off topic to distract from that point. Being a Republican or conservative doesn’t even mean voting for trump. Either way you vote, you’re voting for cult leaders. And there’s a variety of people who are forcibly associated with said cult just because of how they lean. Conservatives don’t all bow down to Trumps policies just as liberals don’t all bow down to Bidens
