I’m lucky enough to have been in the white house three times. All three times i was in the east room. That room feels really big. I don’t understand why the white house would ever need to have an even bigger room than that. even if it’s for more people the house can only have a certain amount of people in it and east room events almost always meet that cap

I’m sure the press secretary was lying when she said it but she said that the ballroom has been wanted for many administrations. or at least an event space which makes no sense to me. White house events are about networking. It’s insanely hard to network out at those events already i couldn’t imagine a larger space. It’s small for a reason
