It should not be easier to own a gun than it is to even get a drivers license.

Each year, 41,000 Americans die in car accidents. 18,000 die in firearm homicides, and 500 in firearm accidents.

Driving a car is done almost everyday by almost everyone. And there’s only 23,000 more deaths…

How is it not? You have to pass a written exam, driving exam, and there a waiting period. Why are there no tests you have to pass in order to get a gun? Why do most states not have any waiting periods?

You only have to wait 16 years to be eligible to drive. 14 for a permit. You can’t purchase a gun until you’re 18 or 21

I would also add that a car isn’t a constitutional right

Are u sure? Comparing driving a car, to a shooting isn’t a good comparison. Comparing shooting to a car crash is better. There is a higher rate of fatal car crashes in comparison to the rate of shootings, in relation to how many of each there are. There are countless people who carry guns daily, in there are or on their person.
