As I said, there is a two tiered justice system but because justice isn’t served in some situations we should let it slide everywhere else? They should all be rotting in a cell for the rest of their lives

you're the only person talking about letting it slide. it should be manslaughter, not murder. in a moment of fear and passion he went too far. he absolutely deserves consequences, but not what's being handed down. he doesn't deserve life or similar

Fear and passion aren’t excuses for murder. Fear for your life is, which had no reason to be so. Punch them in the face or something, pulling a knife in a fight is a bitch move anyways. Do you think the dead kid is only dead for part of his life? He’ll get to come back in 20 years? No, if anything the chance of him or any killer getting out is far too much grace

you're the only one talking about excuses. imprisoning somebody for manslaughter is not an excuse, it's a literal punishment not everybody who murder or manslaughters spends their life in prison and the same is true of all their victims never coming back. we don't determine sentences based on whether or not the dead can come back to life. it's based on the circumstances of the crime. these circumstances don't warrant this clearly racialized ruling

Every single killer should get the chair. You don’t get to take a life and live, you took everything they had, the victim doesn’t even get a cell. So sorry I’m not empathetic with human scum.
