You can’t be Christian and be a Trump supporter. That’s an oxymoron

I think you don’t have any say because you don’t believe in Christianity. You’re just advocating for something you don’t believe.

I’m no longer a believer, but I was raised Catholic all my life and agree with OP. And before you say anything this isn’t a new change of heart, I thought this when I was still a believer

Well I am sorry to hear that. Many former believers have had traumatic experiences or things of that nature lead them away. Or maybe they just never believed in it, and that’s okay.

It wasn’t anything super traumatic. I never needed therapy for it or anything like that, it’s mainly boring personal reasons

Like if someone is religious that’s totally chill by me provided they don’t use it as a way to oppress or harm others

How do you know what I believe, I didn’t say anything about my personal beliefs. Jesus would not be on the side of Trump though that’s obvious

Makes sense. You got a right to believe in what you want. I wouldn’t want other people to force their ideals on me.

Are you saying he’d be on the other side? Cause I think that couldn’t be farther from the truth.

I’m another former Catholic and my high school literally had a social justice class and it went hand-in-hand with Catholic teachings. Right-wing Christians are bad Christians.

I can promise you I was not happier. Actually I was pretty miserable I find a lot of meaning and purpose in life! It’s just I define my own meaning and purpose in life, which is making the world a better place and helping people in any way I can. I’m also an artist who finds joy in that and have great friends too, so I’m not really living in nihilism

I love nihilism- nothing matters so i get to choose my purpose, meaning and destiny, which makes it all the more powerful when i choose to work toward good Half the time a Christian will tell me i
