The left needs to reclaim america, fly our flags at protests (sends a strong message), celebrate july 4th (independence day from a tyrannical monarch), and remind everyone constantly of the constitution

The Dem party will literally never win another election until and unless they do this. People don’t want to live in an America they are shamed for celebrating. People want to celebrate American holidays without being bitched at by leftists for supporting big bad horrible america.

Mostly articles. Written from big news sources. Then the big news sources demonize the opposite political party. As they say “an enemy of my enemy is my friend”. There are some people who think the white man is bad. The “white privileged man” movement even tho money and economic class separates people way more than skin color. It’s definitely possible for a guy to feel kinda hated by the left. Social media, money, media, are the blame mostly

I’ve never really understood why candidates don’t make patriotism a focal point of the campaign. Be patriotic in your campaign, ppl like celebrating their country

That and some political policies were insane. Open borders, leaving Afghanistan, trying not to negotiate with foreign countries. Also the way the left villainized men and white men. We’re all factors of pushing centrists.

i used to disagree because obviously the US flag has so many negative connotations to countries we’ve terrorized and indigenous people, but i think it can be reclaimed. i dont think any definition is rigid, and we can change the connotation

What’s wrong with you😂😂😂. That’s why the dems missed on the young male votes. If they didn’t villainized white guys they probably would’ve won the election. The election result proved that’s how it went. Just stating facts no need to come at me saying I’m a victim. When some pushes against you you’re more likely to turn towards the opposition just human nature

The open borders were rough, leaving Afghanistan with our tails between our legs, war in Ukraine with no negotiations about the end. Just not good political policy.

we have some common ground there. i think the gap in economic class is the most important thing to tackle. and i can understand how 2020 was a little too woke online, unless we get locked inside again. i guess i just dont see how its enough to sway your vote completely. just cause the fans of the people arent for me doesnt mean im gonna write off all the actual political leader’s ideas. the people dont make policy and represent the country, the candidates does. i try to vet my candidates

individually and not through unreliable sources or other people’s opinions. still came to that trump’s tariffs were gonna cause retaliations and tension that would panic the stock market and raise prices

Ngl trumps policies got to me. A strong border, national security, fair trade, strong police and military. The tariffs would hurt short term but help long term especially to the lower class I think. I was really hoping trump would end the wars but we’ll see he might be like any other politician :(. That’s what really got me was the war in Ukraine. Like No negotiations from the left at all? Unbelievable. The border was a little ridiculous. the silencing of people on Twitter during 2020 was crazy

At the same time we can’t let our adversaries walk all over us. Friends are one thing especially for little nations. But we do a lot and buy a lot fund a lot and we need a little help. The tarrifs I feel like we’re more for negotiations but idk we’ll see

In his defense he was the only president in the last 20 years who didn’t go to war/bomb during presidency. Obama was bombing Clinton was bombing, both Bush’s. He was on speaking terms with adversaries (still is). If he doesn’t bomb Iran I’ll say he’s a top tier president in US history

i understand how people see him as some kind of disrupter, that he’d change a broken system, globally and domestically, but at the end of the day he’s a salesman, a terrific salesman even. before entering politics he was rlly known for it as well as his tv personality, which made a perfect skill combo for a new “not ur average” politician

i think he listened to what people were saying they wanted, and became it. wether he will follow thru on stuff or not idk, he probably will still do what’s easy/ will make him look good, like almost meaningless little bills on social issues, and people ghat voted for that will be excited, but i just dont see a reality where he succeeds in anything. all his businesses failed, he was okay at making deals, great at presenting himself to client. theres a clip where he explains how he does it, its

Which in politics it’s a good thing to some aspects getting good trade deals with other countries and solving problems. I feel like he tries his best but lets his emotions get the best of him. All politicians and business men lie so it’s expected.

Yeah but the businesses have too much influence on the economy and jobs. I mean you try to tax most major corporations then they pick up and leave and nobody has a job. Then they pay politicians to add regulations to remove competition. It’s an iron triangle. Politicians 🤝 corporations 🤝 military.

Good ideas the only thing is that most billionaires put their money into stock. Which is non taxable unless we make it taxable some way somehow but then the economy takes a hit every tax day. Then the vacant tax, How long would it have to be vacant for it to take effect? How would you keep track of it? What if they put up a for sale sign and nobody buys it. Same with the banks who own houses do they get taxed the same? There’s a lot to making sure these bills do not have a hole To by pass.

Yeah but then it just goes to government funding and they’ll just spend it on meaningless wars or paying off affairs. I think it might be better to do direct actions. The Rockefeller’s would just build public schools and universities. I think companies should be more giving to society especially after they’re worth billions of dollars. Skip the charities skip the government just start paying people to pave roads, build schools and houses. Build some crazy architecture that employs generation

if its vacant over a month without prior notice of temporary, infrequent travel. not sure how they would know in every case, but maybe theres a community service fee if ur caught lying about it being vacant. and its only for people who own more than 1 house. it being on the market may be a slight loophole but maybe it could be that there has to be updated photos of majority of the house online if its rlly a vacant house going for sale? and yes the houses the banks own will get taxed

if i was pres id start a new budget that can only be spent on making American lives better, and any additional taxation implemented under my term would go in that separate budget, to kick this all off id have a day where everyone that makes under a certain amount gets a check (not that large but its more symbolic than anything) that names a random business/rich person or smth as being the “reason” they got the money. just to throw some good pr at whoever im taking the money from so theyre calm
