Whenever I hear someone say they started a multimillion dollar company from nothing I always ask what shitty thing did they do to cause that to happen. Also republicans have a voice on campus, it’s just normally not listened to because let’s be honest conservatives aren’t known for being intellectuals when all their ideas are just “let’s make it how it used to be”.

Are you comparing me saying conservatives aren’t that well educated, which btw is PROVEN FACT OVER MULTIPLE STUDIES to actual bigotry that comes from unfounded hatred and almost always from the right?… you’re kinda proving my point. Also saying it’s a multimillionaire likely has some sketchy practices isn’t pessimistic, it’s logical.

I’m pretty sure “from nothing” isn’t true, Kirk got personal investments from multiple individuals and organizations to get his start.

Believe or not people can be successful from working hard. Not every millionaire had to do bad things to get there. Also, eduction past high school really means nothing. Like anyone could get a college degree by paying for it and putting in minimum effort. It’s really a money making scam from colleges, and they don’t point to intelligence.

I’m questioning why you said “nothing.” I’m not questioning the dynamic between an investor and a company, I’m questioning your language. Kirk himself came from an affluent family and secured a direct 10K donation from a Republican megadonor, though his name escapes me. I wouldn’t call that “nothing.”

Okay because he still had to work to get the donations and investments, which is part of the work that goes into building a company. He did not have those to start so yes he stared it from nothing

Yeah that’s fair, I just don’t like the fact that he and those alongside him use their platform for conservative/“anti-woke” politics. That was my ideology speaking on that one.
