I mean yeah probably, at least one of the worst ones that is about to pass. There’s been many insane proposed bills that were so insane they never got off the ground

No tax on tips is fine… I know it just goes until 2028 then it comes back in. I haven’t read it so I’m not sure if it has provisions to stop exploitation “oh hey I’m going to pay you $1 million in tips”

I read that it has to be qualified tips, meaning cash. It has to be voluntary (not mandated gratuity), not negotiated, and determined by the customer. And the limit was like 25 grand. And the reduction gets reduced by $100 for every $1000 once your income is over 150k (300k if jointly filing)

The overtime one is nice too, it has a limit of 12,500 (or 25,000 if jointly). Same $100 for $1000 rule if you’re over 150k (300k jointly)
