I don’t think all ever forgive for the powers in charge for stripping my rights and so many other peoples rights to do things we took for granted during Covid so they could test how likely we would Give up our freedoms in the name of Safety.

So sure, sometimes this is true, especially with the current administration. But what rights did you lose during COVID?

Everything being shutdown. The only thing u could do was be online all day inside your house. Which caused my brain chemistry to permanently change. I definitely had a longer attention span and more sense of motivation before covid. But since the government ignored all the obvious signs that would happen if they shut everything down to people’s mental health especially Gen Z and now the kids younger than us aren’t okay either. People’s mental health was an ignored side effect

I’d argue that the effects on mental health that may never get back to normal for alot of people is way more dangerous than COVID was for certain demographics

As someone who went through a mental health crisis during COVID as well, I have sympathy for that, but you have to realize that contracting a disease and potentially dying or spreading it to an older or immunocompromised person and them dying was a much worse risk. Quarantine orders are not new. This is how all pandemics are traditionally dealt with, and frankly one of the only effective ways to do so. I still went outside in nature pretty frequently, and you should have as well.

Well that’s why you quarantine only the immunocompromised and the elderly it was nothing more than collective punishment for everyone

1. People who aren’t immunocompromised and elderly can still die of Covid. And if they don’t die they can still take up important health resources, can become disabled, or can get long COVID. 2. Allowing a disease to spread untreated through the population allows it to mutate and become more dangerous. 3. Elderly and immunocompromised people still need to be in contact with nurses, family members, etc. If the disease is everywhere they are more likely to get it.

Pandemic deaths are highly preventable. Car related accidents often are not (asides from refraining from drinking, using your phone, etc., for which there have been extensive social information campaigns).

No. Non elderly or immunocompromised can still die of COVID. Many people also have lasting side effects as a result of COVID infection. Look into “long COVID.” Also, most elderly or immunocompromised have some level of contact with others, especially caregivers.

Yall haven’t also responded to my argument about the fact that if covid was so dangerous than why were people encouraged to “peacefully protest” by people in the medical field and government who were telling us to lockdown as well. which led to cities burning down in the name of George Floyd

No one lost free expression… that’s just false. Privacy wasn’t infringed on either. Yes you were required to wear a mask or have your vaccination card in certain public places, but you could have also just not gone if you really didn’t want to. How difficult is it for you to have empathy for others and not want to contract or spread a disease?
