I am tired of seeing everyone compare atrocities lately(esp the Holocaust and Slavery in the Americas) both are fucking terrible! Stop comparing. And also get your facts straight- yes the Holocaust was 4 yrs but Jews were persecuted for hundreds of yrs

That’s what learning history is… learning and drawing historical parallels. And things are always linked. And Jews weren’t the only ones targeted during the holocaust

Why not compare? We can notice a lot of similarities if we do. One ethnicity or race being seen as superior to another, that being normalized among the population in order to carry it out, dissent usually being dismissed or suppressed, etc. then we can find ways to spot it when it’s happening and stop it hopefully.
