Deepseek is my LLM of choice but I use it sparingly. I still wouldn’t trust it for geopolitical analysis simply because it is an LLM

Tbh with how heavily sanctioned and isolated they are I don’t think they actually can treat people all that well (i.e. luxuries or sometimes even having consistent food). I do also think that a lot of information coming out of NK is either exaggerated/spun or outright falsified

Sure, but we literally have satellite photos of these forced labor camps. Testimony from escapees, people who fled. I get they’re not in a good place, but part of that is because of their authoritarian regime and how they treat people. China would be much more willing to partner if they didn’t do those things.
