As an econ major, we get it and generally support it. Public finance (which in my school was an econ class) is extremely progressive, and it fully promoted public healthcare, UBI, and subsidized housing. We also had a whole section on why boomers suck. As a finance major as well, finance majors are the spawn of satan. Little psychopathic freaks who care about maximizing profit for their own maximized profit.
