The poor are required by penalty of law to contribute to our society, and pay into government programs that they may or may not benefit from (socialism) The rich just weasel their way around the tax code and use loopholes that they lobbied for to just not pay taxes at all, or a very disproportionally small amount. They collect money and keep all of it for themselves. And call poor people lazy moochers for asking them to do the same thing that we do.

except this is literally just capitalism with some extremely weak social programs that... dont create any safety net, so its just programs.

in the most literal sense, this IS capitalism. capital was developed, and then the rich were FREE to consolidate all of the capital in the MARKET. nothing is left to go around, you have to serve the capital owning rich people -- you are capital (labor), and owned by the rich. if something happens, theres literally nothing preventing you from being homeless, the weakest programs to help you along, nothing to stop your fall.
