you can move people in ways that are much more efficient than a car. trains for long distance, and walking/cycling for short to medium distances. when the infrastructure is designed for multimodlaity in mind, it makes our air cleaner, our cities more affordable, our children safer, and is *much* more affordable than car ownership. if you cannot imagine your life without the car, you are the problem
