I’m gonna be honest, I swing right but the political divided is becoming insane. And BOTH sides play into it. There is no pointing the finger to one side, at the end of the day the USA has to stand united and be there for everyone. Hate is not the answer.

The government smearing the reality of these mass casualty events paints a bleak picture of what the reality of something like a g*nocide in this country would actually look like.

And yes I swing right but they have to take responsibility too. We cannot point the finger at the left. It goes both ways. We can’t be America first if America is so divided

We as citizens have the obligation to be intolerant of intolerance for the betterment of society. Fascism is intolerance incarnate into politics, therefore it cannot be tolerated, period

He’s definitely not the perfect president. I don’t know if that even exists. But he has his pros and cons, like every other candidate or president does. I am personally not somebody who agrees with everything he does, if I did I would be lying to myself

You seem like a genuine well meaning guy. I'm on here all the time, read shit loads of takes, I'm not going to tell you what I believe because it would probably ruin it but I want to see what we agree with and then tell you, just for fun because you seem like we can do this constructively.

Yea ofc who am I too judge people for what they believe and I am always open to hearing other opinions that’s what makes everything great is being able to get other perspectives that may differ from my own

So i definitely like the immigration and border control. I do not think all immigrants who cross over illegally are bad, but I do see the issue it poses, and I do see the unfairness to people who are taking the legal route , I mean it took my family a very long time to become legal citizens here (my family is from Italy), definitely the making America healthy , but I think most Americans understand that because food has become so unhealthy here

Now abortion is a weird one for me because I see it from both perspectives, I don’t think it is morally right, but as a woman I understand abortion is the best option in different situations. If there was a time where it became illegally everywhere I know where I would stand and it would be for abortion because if abortion wasn’t allowed anywhere in the USA I would have a huge problem with that

I agree (mostly) with immigration policies. I think we should definitely make it harder, but the risk the trip poses to peoples lives is worth citizenship. I agree with making America healthy but my ideal methods are probably not the same as yours.

So you're in the middle about abortion? Okay, this isn't my personal belief but I also think in places where abortions are banned fully, it should be the states job to provide contraceptives, for free for the people who can't afford them. Abortion should have exceptions. We agree.

I mean many ways to go about making it healthier. Now probably my most firm belief is the 2nd amendment. But I totally understand a lot of times how people feel about it are because of experiences. Most of my family members own a gun, and have not used the right to own a gun for granted. They use it for protection bc you never know these days

To be clear, we agree with exceptions, disagree (most likely) with the free contraceptives part.

Also I am someone for some reason I live in a constant fear of someone hurting me. So when it comes time for me to live on my own I fully prepare to have a gun for my protection. And for my protection only. Clearly I’m not going to go shoot somebody because they made fun of me or something like that but for the fear that someone is going to break into my home

I also agree with the second amendment with one big caveat. I think rifles should be limited to bolt action only with absolutely zero exceptions, and a pistol magazine cap of 8.

It frustrates me to know end that I'm grouped in with people who want a 2a ban. I can send pictures of my gun collection here, but my point is that in the time 2a was written, you could shoot a round every 2 minutes at best. Nowadays civilians have 800 round per minute guns that should absolutely be illegal.

Yes!! Unfortunately I don’t think banning guns will quite fix the problem but clearly not everyone should own or have access to a gun. Which is why I think more mental health background checks need to be done before someone buys a gun, unfortunately the sad reality is not everyone is mentally capable of owning or possessing a gun. And unfortunately there is no full way to eliminate gun violence:(

I will say people should not be able to own military grade guns. They are military grade for a reason.

Denotatively Trump is supporting ultra nationalist policies and is supporting what internationally is recognized as authoritarian and fascist policies. He hasn’t installed fascism into our government at this point however it’s objectively undeniable that he supports fascist ideas and policies lol

So the only group of people who think Trump is a facist is the left and the left only, and not everyone in the left even thinks that. A facist would not appoint judges and justices who interpret the constitution in an originalist way, a facist would not end wars, a facist would not. Trumps nationalistic views does not align anywhere close with facist nationalism. His falls in the best interest for the United States.

Political experts also agree he is nowhere close to being a facist. If he was a facist he would be trying to overthrow the constitutional system. He is also against launching foreign wars which goes against facism. If you were to tell the 6 million people who died under Hitlers regime that Trump was a facist they would look at you like you were crazy. Same with people who died under Mussolini!

The left aren’t the only group of people that consider trumps actions authoritarian and tyrannical, there are tons of international and domestic organizations too lmao. Hitler ended wars when it benefitted him, and Hitler made concessions with who he considered the enemy in order to slight them and trick them later down the road. You clearly have zero clue what fascism actually is outside of mustaches and German accents ffs

He’s throwing us into a war with Venezuela right now, he continued funding the genocide in Gaza, hasn’t done shit about ending the war in Ukraine, tell me how he’s been trying to end them hmm? And I guarantee if I showed those 6 million people trump they would absolutely see the similarities between the uprising of their oppression and trumps crazed rise to consolidated power

It’s a tiny google search away to read about the NUMEROUS experts that have been publicly concerned and claiming that he’s been acting in authoritarian/nationalist/ultra capitalist/fascist goals for years now. This is undeniable fact

Well it’s not really hard to know he’s not a facist based off of history, research, again a facist would try to overthrow the constitutional system… so when that never happens feel free to let me know. America is not an autocract nation and Trump isn’t trying to turn it into that. We have popular control of elections here, an autocratic government does not. He has not expressed or attempted any foreign conquest. Also calling him that displays a lot of historical ignorance.
