The problem is that they MIGHT use nukes if there’s a decapitation strike. Huge might. Even if they don’t, chemical weapons, go to an 11 on the war crimes and genocide, etc.

Eh just send a cruise missile to every person who would have a say in that as well. Nuke the Kremlin and then have Congress appropriate funds to buy out the remainder of Alexander Ovechkin’s contract and plant him as the new president of Russia. Problem solved.

They supposedly have a dead man’s switch. If someone doesn’t send a signal to the launch facilities every so often, they launch by assuming we’ve done a decapitation/first strike. Except these aren’t aimed at Ukraine, but us.
