The American left has compromised so much that the Overton window (the level of acceptable political discourse) has shifted so far right it’s considered unthinkable to advocate for basic human rights like free access to water and nutrition

Not to mention that it’s perfectly acceptable for groups like the proud boys, 3%ers, and legit Nazis to parade around peaceful protests with weapons but the second antifa punches a Nazi or even throws a drink at one people start calling for the death penalty. Insanity
