Everything is becoming less affordable for us. With the development of other country’s currencies and BRICS urging countries to lower USD reserves, our dollar is going to return here and inflation will be terrible. Give it a decade or two. I think this is one of the reasons the US is striking Iran, to strengthen our monopoly on global energy/oil and to prevent the wealthy from losing value. Not saying I advocate for this by the way, just my analysis on what I think the leaders are thinking.

True. Idk about the objective of the war in Iran being to strengthen the USD though. Wouldn’t that contradict the Mar a Lago Accords, which weaken the dollar?

It would. Mar a Lago Accords is just a conversation as of right now though, there are no signatures on anything. Maybe in the future, but I think both can go hand in hand. Regardless I’m sure there’s dozens of other reasons for the Iran war right now.
