Tbf they leave the host as soon as the host dies so you wouldn’t eat them that way. They can burrow directly into human flesh sometimes tho so that’s something fun to think about

my concern is more about finding dead ones and other related nastiness in the meat. something tells me flesh eating parasites will affect food safety and quality regardless of if i find a live one
