Not only that, I really don’t think people understand just how many undocumented people they interact with on a daily basis. (Surprise there are many White, Black, & Asian undocumented people) . So I think this targeted attack on Undocumented people from Hispanic communities is just fucking racist 💀 idk the shit just doesn’t make sense to me.

One of the most common misdemeanor chargers in the U.S is domestic violence, should we just not enforce that too because it’s “only a misdemeanor”

Depending on the state and circumstances, DV can easily be upgraded to a felony charge. And it’s not as common as shoplifting, jaywalking and public intoxication. But regardless, I’d argue nobody who committed a misdemeanor should be sent to “alligator alcatraz” 😭

If they’re not documented and cross the border, fine, whatever, send them back at this point. It’s the big fucking song and dance people in the administration are making about it. ICE raids, the push for no due process, falsely accusing people of being part of a violent gang to justify a wrongful deportation, etc etc etc. Like we can’t fucking relax??

Maybe im just not well educated but honestly unless they are committing a violent crime I don’t see what the big deal is with them coming over 💀 like honestly there are bigger fucking fish to fry before I care about undocumented people simply entering the country illegally

There really isn’t a big deal. I don’t care if they stay. But everyone seems so insistent on sending them back I’m not even gonna argue about that point anymore, when the much more pressing matter is the way people go about it. It’s been a problem for ages. It’s like there’s no way people can just be put on a plane and sent away, it’s always gonna be some kind of inhumane scandal, and that’s what gets me the most about it.

My logic w these people is more like dealing with someone throwing a fit over nothing tbh. “FINE, do it if you want them all gone so badly, but if you can’t figure out how to go about it civilly or at least without being accused of violating basic human autonomy then there really isn’t a point in trying at all”.
