The Catholic Church is the single most charitable organization on the planet, if Churches pay taxes so too do all of the non profit charities

private businesses also make huge charitable donations goober. that alone doesn't exempt an organization from taxes. churches should absolutely pay taxes

Overall, yes, churches are not for profit. Not mega churches and those massive places in the south where pastors get paid millions per year.
