the actual total of civilian deaths is still fewer than a million. I don’t know where you’re getting your numbers lmao. In any case, don’t get me wrong it’s evil that America targeted civilians but it’s just wild work if someone is like “man it sucks all those poor white Germans died in ww2 from the EVIL axis powers” Like it does suck civilians died… but uhhh

That’s nonsense. Poor countries in the global south have very few billionaires and they are often terrible places to do business in large part because property rights are poorly protected.

The poster did not imply causation. They said the same system that creates billionaires also leads to lower poverty. So the idea is that a third variable (liberal democracy is what leads to both billionaires and low poverty.
