I feel like academic leftism has not been useful for a while The reason is since all of them are basically being consultants and not like getting stuff done …plus the US isn’t even close to any basic leftist tenant

I’d argue another reason is because the majority of political beliefs are not rooted in any form of reason nor logic, but instead rooted in one’s emotional response to any given topic. one cannot deconstruct an emotionally-based topic by appealing to their reason.
