If Americans hadn't let themselves be distracted by bullshit every election cycle. Oh and large parts of the country wouldn't be living the Handmaid's Tale either.

Nuh uh!!! Kamala would’ve given Iran a nuke and they would’ve immediately used it back on us and they would’ve bombed the school anyway so actually Trump just saved millions of American lives 🤪

Actually that’s not entirely true. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that Presidential candidates will be disqualified for being in prison. In fact, he wouldn’t have been the first candidate to run from a prison cell. The only thing about being in prison that would potentially hinder his chances would be his reputation. But knowing his fanbase, I don’t think that would matter. So I could fully see a timeline where he wins and runs the country from his prison cell.

All of the stuff with Iran would have happened regardless. Both sides are slaves to Israel. I don’t like Trump either, but to say Kamala would have stayed neutral with the Iran/israel war is just nonsense

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been involved in the killing of civilians for nearly 50 years, beginning shortly after its formation following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Iran asked for it, maybe they shouldn’t be funded terrorism internationally and had their foreign policy constantly hostile to America for almost 50 years😢

This and we would’ve ended up supporting it cause they support the geopolitical interests of our ruling class. Pretending it’s just a Trump problem allows ppl to ignore the issue of capitalist imperialism.

I don’t agree. This isn’t the first time Israel has made threats like this, it’s just the first time we’ve taken them seriously. They’ve always wanted a president to help them, this is just the first time they’ve found one dumb enough to do it

Biden aids have said publicly that pressure from Israel would have likely made it so they would’ve also had to go into Iran. It would’ve been better. The straight would be open still, less folks would die. But yeah this was gonna happen either way. That’s why I’m not voting for a Democrat unless they at least *promise* transformative change. They’re liars so who knows, but they cannot continue to not even try to lie about not wanting things to be better

This yikyak isn’t willing to hear that tho, everyday I’m more convinced that the labor aristocracy analysis is right. The material interest of the working class in the core capitalist countries have become diametrically opposed to that of the working class in the periphery. All we can argue about is how to best spilt the loot within the system, while their interest lie in its overthrow.

As che said “In the final analysis, the economic development of the United States and the need of its workers to maintain their standard of living means that our struggle for national liberation is not waged against a given social regime, but rather against the whole nation, bound as a bloc by the iron-clad supreme law of common interest, over their domination of the economic life of Latin America.”

So A.) Trump pulled us out of the nuclear deal with Iran that led to this B.) no other president took Israel seriously on this C.) trump talks a big game but he’s not the “deal maker in chief” and pretty much every other president in recent modern history has been far better at working with foreign leaders D.) trumps been promising Bibi a blank check since his fucking campaign HE TOLD US HE WAS GONNA PULL THIS SHIT AND NO ONE BELIEVED HIM

You know they were protesting that it was a monarchy… not that Muslims control the country right? Because it seems pretty weird for them to be protesting Islamic control when Iran has always been predominantly Muslim

No one is praising trump but a military invasion of Iran has been in the works of while, blows against empire by prof Horne (written 2008) has pretty accurately predicted trumps threats and actions against Cuba Iran and Venezuela all of which are shown not to be unique to Trump but part of long term American geopolitical strategy. The brooking institution (basically a more centrist version of the heritage foundation) has a document which path to Persia that has basically outlined US strategy 1/2

In regards to Iran, this has been a long time coming from the view of our ruling class. One can check the authors and see they’re connected to the foreign policy of both parties.. also despite her rhetoric while trumps been in office Harris had labeled Iran a number one threat and wasn’t even able to rule out intervention during her campaign.

I’m a Sunni and I hate the IRGC and the Shi’a regime; but you can’t deny that the lives of the general population became 1000% better under Khomeini and Khamanei vs the shah. Literally only 38% of people back then had access to food and water while everyone else was getting exploited.

They clearly have something in common but is it genetic? What could be the reason that Trump became who he is and why he was able to garner as much support as he has? It can't be a coincidence, right? There must be multiple large scale factors in effect, right? It must be bigger than "they are evil" or "our institutions are failing", right? Why are they evil? Why are our institutions failing? How did this *really* happen?

The constitution also said people could use their slaves as voting power. I think it's time for us to stop licking our all-male Founders' balls and recognize that this country was never destined for greatness. It was destined to be another example of how harmful unchecked patriarchal capitalism and settler colonialism is to the mind, body, and spirit of every living being on this earth. Don't forget that those white dweebs were as evil as Trump, despite how our education system glorifies them.
